Drishti

Day 25: I have used Drishti in yoga, during tree pose or when practicing handstand. But I hadn’t used it in meditation until yesterday. I had been keeping my eyes closed and trying to focus them, but, given the nothingness of the back of my eyelids, it was proving difficult.

So let’s try eyes open. Focusing on a candle flame. Eyes are heavy, not wide open, but open enough that they can see the pillar of flame. When the eyes wander, the thoughts are likely also wandering. Come back to the breath, back to the flame. Over and over and over again. 340 days to go 😍✨🌱
